Declaration of accessibility

The web presentation of the Karlovy Vary Municipal Library publishes information related to the performance of public administration in such a way that persons with disabilities can get acquainted with it to the extent necessary. The web presentation complies with the requirements set out in Decree No. 64/2008 Coll., on the form of publication of information related to the performance of public administration through websites for persons with disabilities (Decree on accessibility).

Information on conditionally mandatory rules of the Accessibility Ordinance

  • The site uses Java Script and CSS add-ons. Even without these add-ons, the pages are standard and fully usable.

  • In the case of the discussion forum, cookies are used for proper functioning due to the nature of the site.

  • The website may also publish information in non-web formats. This is because these documents either contain typographic elements and formatting that the web format does not support or are too large and should be downloaded. For example, free browsers that can be downloaded from the Internet can be used to view these documents:

  • All pages of the web presentation are equipped with an orientation menu, which contains, among other things, links that allow you to skip the main blocks. These links are hidden by the CSS add-on, but will be displayed when navigating through the orientation menu using the keyboard.
